Kelso City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at Kelso City Hall 7:00 PM
The Kalama City Council meets at the Kalama City Hall on the first and third Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm. KLTV broadcasts these meeetings at a later date and time. Check your local listings for more information on program timing.

Counseling for small businesses (either existing or those being formed) is provided free by S.C.O.R.E., an adjunct of the Small Business Administration. One hour sessions are scheduled each Tuesday morning at 9, 10 & 11am.
The meeting place is the Kelso/Longview Chamber of Commerce,
1563 Olympia Way, Longview, WA.

The Mt. St. Helens Club is southwest Washington’s oldest & favorite outing
club. Currently with 100 members & growing, the club schedules hikes
(almost) every Monday and (almost) every Saturday year round. During
the winter, hikes are often replaced by x-country skiing & snowshoeing.
Other outdoor activities include biking, camping, canoeing and picnicking.
Monday hikes are Easy to Moderate: (3 to 7 miles & less than 1000 elevation)
Saturday hikes are Moderate to Difficult (5 to 12 miles & over 1000 elevation).

Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild monthly meeting held the third Monday of each month (except July, August and December) from 7 to 9 p.m. Meetings are held in the basement of the Educational Building of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2218 E. Kessler Blvd, Longview. Social begins at 6:30 p.m. Speakers, door prize raffle, block of the month, show and tell. Yearly dues are $15. All quilters welcome! The Monticello Camera Club meets the 1st and second Tuesday of each month in the Dining room of the Somerset retirement apartments.
During this meeting we will be judging slides from our club members.
Digital and film photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to join, dues is $10 annually. Feel free to come and just sit in on a meeting for free. As a club we hold regular photo competitions in all formats, Print, digital, and slides. We are currently planning some photography outings and some workshops so beginning and intermediate photographers can learn from the "more experienced."

Chief Tsungani will discuss tribal styles & the variations through time along the coast. He will demonstrate tools used in the creation of ceremonial masks. He will also demonstrate different techniques used in creating masks, rattles, totem poles, bowls & complex masks. Pieces from the family collection will be shown to increase your understanding.
